Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) UK, is looking for a dynamic Senior Regional Recruitment Advisor to join its team in India. The primary focus of the role will be to assist and contribute in the development and successful implementation of ARU’s student recruitment activities in India to achieve its student recruitment targets and to promote its interests in the Indian subcontinent.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, results oriented, proactive and highly motivated candidate with recent experience of working in the student recruitment space, ideally for an overseas University. The candidate should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders in the education and related sector(s).
Since the candidate will be working remotely with the University’s UK on-campus team, staff and advisers across countries, she/he should be highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working with differences in time zones. The role will involve regular domestic and occasional international travel including work outside of normal working hours.

As a Senior Regional Recruitment Adviser, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of student recruitment targets and associated strategic objectives in your designated region Specifically, you will:
. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of a marketing and recruitment strategy to successfully recruit students from India, to agreed targets, with the support of and in collaboration with other India based colleagues and the International office of the university
. Maintain and develop strong relationships with ARU’s commercial recruitment partners in designated markets including regular visits (as per agreed schedule) to carry out product and compliance training, and provide conversion and customer support as required, to achieve agreed recruitment and compliance targets.
. Proactively identify, recommend and participate in a range of promotional events both independently and in association with commercial recruitment and institutional partners, which demonstrate a justifiable return on investment.
. Work closely with commercial recruitment and institutional partners to ensure they and their students receive the highest standards of customer service throughout the recruitment cycle.
. Engage in a professional manner with students (and with parents/guardians, etc.) at all stages of the recruitment journey. Responsible for the day-to-day management of enquiries from prospective students and applicants from the region, playing an active role in converting students from enquiry to enrolment.
. Carry out the regular activity necessary to realize the objectives of the marketing and recruitment strategy: attending exhibitions, organizing online events, undertaking school and college visits, visiting agencies, and similar others.
. Work closely with key operational teams at ARU such as International Admissions, Recruitment and Student Advice to ensure that potential and current students have an excellent student experience throughout the recruitment cycle and beyond.
. Contribute to the university’s Digital marketing and social media initiatives in India.
. Regularly evaluate the outcomes of recruitment activities and produce timely reports as agreed on performance, competitor activities, market threats and opportunities in relation to product, position, pricing and promotion.
. Collaborate, organize and manage university events in market including inbound visits from academic staff and senior management and outward visits of commercial and institutional partners to ARU.
. Develop and maintain links with alumni in India as appropriate as well as organizing and implementing in-country alumni events as and when required.
. Provide regular market feedback and intelligence to Marketing and Recruitment team and the international office.
. Travel is an essential requirement of the role. Colleagues will normally undertake several trips each year and may be away for around three months in total including work outside of normal working hours.
. Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR requirements in all working practices maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, accuracy, currency and security of information as appropriate. Take personal responsibility for all personal data within own working environment.
. Other such duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required.

• six to nine years’ experience in international student recruitment or marketing in a higher education environment.
• Experience communicating with a wide range of audiences and tailoring written and spoken communication as appropriate.
• Experience organizing events.
• Experience using social media as a marketing tool.
• Experience working or studying in the UK can be an asset.
