Graphics and Desktop Publishing Designer
Sannam S4 has an opening for a Graphics and Desktop Publishing Designer to the USEA for an initial year plus long assignment to launch and lead the USAID inception activities under the Asia EDGE – SAREH.
The Graphics and Desktop Publishing Designer will report to report directly to the Chief of Party and indirectly, working very closely with the Communications lead to timely execute on project deliverables.
We are looking for a certified technical web designer with skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Responsive web design, UX, UI, CSS, graphic design, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
The potential candidate should have experience in working in the Oil and Gas / Energy Sector.

Any graduation
1. Desktop (DTP) Designing
●Maintaining up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques and applications and software requirements
●Managing and quality control of the layout and design of technical reports
●Creating infographics and multimedia content for various uses
2. Graphics & Infographics
●Produce creative assets including banners, outreach documents, brochures, fact sheets, invites, presentations, gifs, poster designs for marketing activities across multiple channels. These include but are not limited to emailers, web, MailChimp, Blue Jeans, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Zoom, website, Canva, YouTube, print publications, and other activities
●Post-produce short thematic and report-based explainer videos with stock and program images and footage.
●Understand logo/branding placement protocol per USAID standards
3. Website Design & Manager
●Define website design & develop templates
●Adept in User-experience Design (UX), User Interface (UI), HTML, Cascading Stylesheet (CSS), WordPress, design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign), Muse, Dream weaver, Flash professional, and other related software or digital tools.
●Monitor & support web development
●Monitor & support Content migration
●Lead search engine optimization
4. DTO & Graphics Designing
●Adept in producing creative assets including banners, outreach documents, brochures, fact sheets, invites, presentations, gifs, videos, for marketing activities across multiple channels.
●An understanding of the latest sectoral trends and their role within the energy space to improve customer experience and course correction
●Expert at preparing multiple rough drafts of products or services based on an agreed brief and reviewing and finalizing layouts with client suggestions as required
●Understanding for cross-platform activities & design conversions
WordPress , Website design , Graphic Design , Infographics , Web Content Creation , Adobe Photoshop , Adobe Illustrator , HTML , Animation , Data visualization
Requirement:
●A Graduate with a minimum of eight years of work experience as graphics DTP designer, and/or web designer and at least 1-year experience in the energy sector working either with either the public or private sector
●Technical web design certification with skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Responsive web design, UX, UI, CSS, graphic design, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
Specialization
●Knowledge in the art of A/B testing for responsive web designing
●Experience in leading search optimization and website maintenance
●Knows the main design rules to build powerful user interfaces, create great landing pages
●Advanced knowledge of design conventions along with skills in MS Word, Visio, PPT, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, MailChimp, Canva, Blue Jeans, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Zoom, website, YouTube, and print publications
●Proven advanced skills in Microsoft Office
●Experience in the report, white paper, presentation designing.
●Professional knowledge of industry processes e.g. professional printing/binding
●Proven skills in typography, composition, colour theory, templates and layout
