Sannam S4 is seeking an International Officer (North America) to provide recruitment support and partnership development for a leading UK university, London Metropolitan University.

This role, as a member of Sannam S4’s higher education advisory team, will support London Metropolitan University’s International Recruitment Team, focusing on the USA.
The role will be home-based, preferably in a metropolitan area near an airport hub. The role reports into Sannam S4’s Recruitment and Admissions Manager.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Sannam S4 does not sponsor employment visas.
Overview of Role
To enhance the capacity of the University, which is seeking to strengthen its presence in the US, this role will lead on the development and implementation of outreach, marketing, and recruitment strategies to increase the number of full-time on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate students from North America. The role will also support partnership development and study abroad recruitment. Key responsibilities and objectives of the job :
Identifies opportunities – and effectively communicates these opportunities in the form of written strategic market plans – to increase market visibility for the University, advising and developing marketing and communication strategies and viable advertising opportunities in the US market and other means of raising awareness about study at the University.
Represents the University at education and recruitment fairs, conferences, and school visits both in person and virtually as is practical.
Engages prospective students, counselors, parents and other stakeholders throughout the student recruitment cycle - converting leads to applicants and enrolled students
Provides market insight on North America trends and makes recommendations to support informed decision making for the development of the marketing strategies of these markets.
Liaises closely with a range of colleagues in the Department of Student Recruitment & Business Development and acts as a key contact for this office’s staff and other University personnel visiting the USA.
Contributes to the development of online and offline marketing tools, including social media, and presence on relevant online media; and will also contribute in the development of printed materials to support the University’s international recruitment activities.
Liaises with colleagues in the UK to develop a system for best utilizing local alumni networks focusing on recruitment activities.
Identifies and initiates links with universities, colleges, government agencies and other organizations in the designated countries.
Is a team player providing mutual support and encouragement to other team members.
Develops effective internal and external working relationships with a range of campus communities, and external partners, representatives, and professional organizations, leveraging these networks to achieve targets set by the University.
Perform other such duties as required.
Higher Education Recruitment , International Admissions
Experience recruiting for or working with diverse institutions, including HBCUs, HSIs or metropolitan universities
Comfortable preparing and delivering presentations to a range of audiences
Confident in planning and booking a busy travel schedule
Knowledge of the higher education industry with a focus on UK higher education, and knowledge of the North American secondary and post-secondary education systems
Ability to work remotely from a home office that includes internet access and a dedicated working space
Marketing experience including email communications and social media engagement
Willingness to work off-hours to accommodate the UK time-zone
Desire and ability to travel up to 50% in North America and abroad when feasible
Holds a valid US driver’s license
Proficiency in the use of all MS Office suite and Google Suite
Experience utilizing Excel or a CRM to collect and analyze data
Willingness and ability to work both independently and part of a team
Minimum bachelor’s degree
