Senior Manager, Education
Sannam S4 is seeking to appoint an ambitious, proactive and goals-orientated team player. Taking responsibility for business development in North America, and working closely with the company’s Director of Education and the wider international team, our new team member will play a key role in shaping the future strategy of Sannam S4’s education client base in North America.
Developing a clear plan of action to expand Sannam S4’s North American client base, the role will make considerable contributions to the following areas:
•Marketing and promotion of Sannam S4’s services to U.S. and Canadian organizations which include:
a. Local in-country representation
b. Market research and analysis, partner selection and due diligence
c. International strategic consulting
d. Admissions and conversion strategies
e. Financial consulting (tax, accounting, payroll) and compliance services
•Developing relationships with new prospects, partners and stakeholders including: universities, colleges, vocational training providers, national and federal governments, NGO/NPO’s, trade sector bodies, and organizations & associations
•Preparing client proposals and securing projects with new clients
•Providing guidance and structured support to clients seeking to explore, enter and expand internationally
•Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
•Speaking at and attending relevant events to raise the profile of the company and network with relevant individuals, institutions and associations (i.e. Department of Commerce, NAFSA, NACUBO, American Council on Education, AIEA, IIE, AIRC, ICEF, NACAC, regional trade support agencies etc.)
•Organizing Sannam S4’s own events, webinars and marketing outreach campaigns (supported by Sannam S4’s in-house marketing team)
•Developing social media and other outreach campaigns to raise Sannam S4’s profile in North America.
To achieve the goal of generating new business, the candidate is required to be able to identify the needs of a potential client, clearly describe the solution Sannam S4 can provide to address this need and articulate the company’s unique value proposition in doing so.
As well as being able to develop new business, the candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of international student recruitment across key source markets and preferably some experience of international enrollment, international research collaboration or partnership arrangements between international institutions/faculty.
Preferred candidates will be required to advise clients and support the delivery of projects in these areas. As such, sound knowledge of Sannam S4’s key markets is required for effective understanding of challenges and opportunities.

Sannam S4 is looking for a dynamic results-driven individual with a proven track record of achievement. Experience of working within an institution’s international office or on international projects for a related sector organization will be a valuable asset.
Given the multi-country solution Sannam S4 has to offer, this individual will be expected/ required to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues from across the world. This element of the role will bring satisfaction to the right candidate, but is also an important consideration given time zones and other practicalities.

Education and Experience
•Bachelors degree or above.
•At least eight years of work experience with a minimum of three years in international education (preferred) with a sales/business development focus.
Travel Requirements
The appointee will be expected to travel frequently within North America (at least 50% of the time) and to Sannam S4’s offices in key international markets once or twice per year. The appointee must hold a valid U.S./Canadian driving license and be eligible to work in the U.S/Canada in compliance with relevant Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
Working Hours
•9am – 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
•Periodic out of business hours international phone calls
•Considerable domestic and some international travel a requirement
•Occasional weekend travel
