Job Description:

SurveyPoint, an initiative by Sambodhi- a prolific Research and Communications firm- is looking for a WordPress Developer with experience in developing APIs to connect WordPress pages to Django and Laravel databases. The candidate should be fluent in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as the ability to work with and extend WordPress themes and plugins. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal WordPress Developer should be able to hit the ground running. 

Experience Range:

3 - 5 years

Educational Qualifications:

B.Tech/B.E, or M.Tech

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate will perform the following key functions:  
  • Create APIs that can securely connect WordPress pages to Django and Laravel databases, allowing data to be exchanged between the different systems
  • Design and develop WordPress websites and themes 
  • Install and configure plugins and widgets to enhance the website functionality 
  • Debug and fix compatibility issues between themes, plugins, and core WordPress 
  • Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code 
  • Optimize the performance of the WordPress website, including improving load times and ensuring that the website is fully optimized for search engines 
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as designers and project managers.

Skills Required:

WordPress, Django, Laravel, PHP Frameworks,

Candidate Attributes:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development and API development is desired.
