Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources within the organization, including databases, spreadsheets, and other software systems.
- Analyze the collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can provide valuable information to management.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports, dashboards, and other presentations summarizing key performance indicators, operational metrics, and other relevant information.
- Maintain and update databases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand their information needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users on MIS software applications and data management best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in MIS and data analytics to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Qualification and Skills:
- Roles in this field require a bachelor's degree. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are crucial.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and database management.
- Proficiency in MIS software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, or specialized MIS tools.
- Candidates having hands on experience/knowledge of Power Bi and Looker Studio is an add on advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
