Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks while also performing manual testing as needed to ensure end-to-end product quality.
You will be instrumental in automating repetitive test cases, validating complex workflows, and working closely with product and engineering teams to maintain a high standard of quality across releases.

Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
Develop automated test scripts for web and mobile APIs, UI, and backend systems.
Identify test cases for automation and work on converting them from manual to automated.
Perform exploratory and manual testing for new and complex product features.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and track test coverage metric
Log defects clearly and track them to closure using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Provide feedback on application usability, performance, and overall product quality.

Candidate Attributes:
Required Skills and Experience:
2–6 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation.
Solid experience in any one or more automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Postman (for API testing).
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab Actions).
Understanding of testing RESTful APIs and database validation using SQL.
Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Good to Have:
Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and Docker containers.
Experience in automating business workflows or integration testing across systems.
