Backend Developer

1. Our teams work on a range of applications – mobile, backend, cloud, analytics and we are constantly looking to add on to and improve our suite of apps. This is a role where you will contribute to the design, redesign, maintenance and evolution of some of our most critical systems
2. Get to work on a range of applications and best in class tech – we do not like to restrict our people to a specific portfolio.
3. Directly work with the business and product teams – excellent exposure to understanding market and client dynamics, and how best to respond to changes.

What we expect you to bring to the table!
1. Interest and proven ability to design production systems running on Python.
2. Very strong logical reasoning skills.
3. Previous experience developing end-to-end mobile apps using React Native or Flutter or Ionic as the front end and Python, Go or Ruby as the back end.
4. Working knowledge of at least 1 relational (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle) and 1 non-relational database (Redis, Mongo, Aerospike or Cassandra).
5. Knowledge of multiple front-end tech like HTML5/CSS, jQuery.
6. Ability to curate and test effective APIs that scale.
7. Experience with any continuous integration and build system like Jenkins.
8. Demonstrated enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
