Job Description:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging production issues across multiple environments.
  • Optimizing application performance and scalability.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Mentoring junior developers and helping them grow their skills.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participating in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Working closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.

Job Responsibilities:

Skills:

  • Expertise in Java programming language and its ecosystem. 
  • Proficiency in backend development frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
  • Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7 plus years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications in Java or related technologies (optional but beneficial).
