Category Manager eCom Marketplace

Job Description:

1)The category manager's role is to increase the market share of his category in terms of attracting more sellers and buyers & reduce customer churn. 
2)The candidate needs to anticipate customer needs & incorporate them into the functional roadmap & drive changes, enhancements based on competitive trends in the B2B marketplace and macro-environment data. 3)Qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify any shifts, spikes/dip or other gaps in the categories and work with multiple stakeholders to bridge them. 
4)Collating buyer, seller verbatim & identifying growth opportunities and improving the overall user experience. 

Experience Range:

3 - 7 years

Educational Qualifications:

B.Tech/B.E, and MBA/PGDM

Job Responsibilities:

 
1)Identifying and Plugging any SEO related gaps for better traffic management 
2)Ensuring customer satisfaction through Seller/brand monitoring & improving category NPS & retention Working with the customer acquisition and engagement team to define a charter for engagement initiatives 3)Setting up scalable reports and communication channels to drive desirable behavior among the entire seller base.
4)Minimum Requirements: Understanding of and passion for e-commerce. Min. 3+ Years of work experience in business, category management, sales, marketing, strategy, finance, or consulting. Startup founders are welcome to apply Should have managed a team of min. 3 for more than 1 year

 4)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to think & react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines Detail-oriented Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative. Minimum Requirements: Understanding of and passion for e-commerce.
