Software Engineer - Fullstack(Insurance)

Job Description:

  • At least 2-3 years as a MERN (Mongo, Express, React and Node) includes advanced JavaScript (ES5 or ES6), Typescript, React and Node 12 and above. 
  • Experience in converting business requirements into Technical specifications, for the development team to refer for code construction. 
  • Hands-on experience in Advance Scripting stack i.e. JavaScript, Typescript, JQuery, Express JS, Bootstrap JS, Node JS, NPM, JSON, Ajax, RESTful API, Web/Application Servers, Database application layers with noted databases i.e. MySQL/Mango DB/Postgres etc. AWS (IAM, S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, Cloud Watch etc.) hands-on is preferred. 
  • Experience in using REST API specification tools to document i.e. Swagger. Experience in writing unit test cases (Jasmine), Node JS unit test cases to write unit test cases. 
  • Should have a good exposure to use IDE tools Visual Studio Source Code or other relevant industry standard IDEs.
  • Good hands-on experience in debugging React/Node JS code for any issues during SIT/Prod Validation.
  • Hands-on with PHP, a big plus

Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement applications using React 
2. Create secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, Jquery, React 
3. Ensure continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git). 
4. Implement critical components and help define the architectural vision, collaborating with partner teams across the organization, and mentoring and developing more junior engineers 
5. Propose, design, and build innovative tools and frameworks for use by engineering teams at InsuranceDekho
6. Contribute towards Code Reviews
