SEO Manager
Job description:
1. Develop and execute short-term & long-term successful SEO strategies
2. Conducting keyword research, identifying content scope/strategy to guide content teams
3. Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
4. Optimize website content and landing pages based on user intent, UX, and mobile-first approach
5. Manage off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
6. In-depth reporting & monitoring of SEO & business performance metrics
7. Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
8. Competition analysis to identify gaps and trends
9. Define business requirements and coordinate with the technology team to get SEO recommendations implemented and track the impact of each SEO initiative
10. Managing SEO & content agencies/team for the requirement with proper tracking and follow-ups
11. Continuously updating the website based on fresh SEO trends, Google core updates, and internet marketing industry trends.
Compulsory Skillset:
• Data-centric and experimental approach
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis for movement in ranking, traffic, and conversion funnel metrics
• Fluent in technical SEO aspects – core web vitals, siloing, breadcrumbs, page structure, JS/CSS troubleshooting.
• Ability to prioritize SEO implementations based on expected business impact and effort required
• Comfortable working in a strong performance-focused digital role with a keen eye for optimization opportunities
• Working knowledge of Excel (vlookup, filters, pivot tables) is needed with extensive working capability on spreadsheets
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, GSC, Moz, Ahref, SEMRush.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Desirable Skillset:
• Good with mental maths/logic/data interpretation/problem solving
• Keen eye for user experience aspects
• Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of different attribution models
• Ability to merge digital knowledge with performance requirements for insurance after understanding various insurance industry products and parameters
• Experienced in managing SEO for large portals, preferably e-commerce or BFSI (MAUs > 1Mn)
