Job Title:
Lead Engineer
Job Description:
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of experience in software development.
Highly skilled in relational (like MYSQL) and NoSQL (like Mongo) database and schema design.
Extensive knowledge of message brokers and asynchronous systems in general, especially Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
Experience with building microservices designed for high availability and low latency
Make correct design choices in the context of a problem for datastore, caching, search, scaling, etc
Write good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code
Instill best practices for development and champion their adoption. Mentor junior engineers on software design, coding practices, and TDD
strategies.
Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly
Experience Range:
