Job Overview: You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities and Duties: A Java developer is responsible for many duties throughout the development lifecycle of applications, from concept and design right through to testing. Here are some other responsibilities they may have: Design, implement and maintain java application phases To take part in software and architectural development activities Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging Identifying production and non-production application issues Transforming requirements into stipulations Develop, test, implement and maintain application software Recommend changes to improve established java application processes Develop technical designs for application development Develop application code for java programs

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience 2+ years of experience designing, testing, and implementing Java-based web applications Knowledge of secure coding practices, RESTful web services, and test-driven development Experience with Docker and microservices Expert in Java and Java EE technologies
Experience with Hibernate and Spring
Experience with Spring Projects such as Spring Boot, Spring Restful services, and Spring Data.
Experience with SOAP/REST services Experience with JBoss/Wildfly/Tomcat/Apache HTTP Experience with relational databases.
MongoDB will be preferred.
Experience with javascript / any frontend framework(angular, jquery). React js will be preferred
Must be familiar with implementing standard best practices (e.g. secure programming, Java patterns, and Test Driven Development)
Will work with sensitive material and follow proper protection standards
Experience with Hibernate and Spring
