Position: Associate Manager / Manager - Operations (RCM)
Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate in any discipline
Experience: 8+ Years of experience in US Healthcare Operations (Preferably from Provider Side)
Work Location: Banjara Hills, Road.1, Hyderabad.
The Revenue Cycle Manager (Billing) is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the day-to-day revenue cycle operational processes for their assigned functions and all related duties to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of the revenue cycle function
8 - 12 years
Any graduation
• Reviews billing metrics to include reconciliation of unbilled, uncoded, and submitted claims to ensure throughput.
• Deep level knowledge of UB-04 revenue codes, HCPCS, CPT-4, ICD-10, and modifiers
• Understands the process of electronic claims submission and construct of the 837 and 835 data sets
• Understands billing rules including billing edits, payor specific edits, structuring bridge routines and common claims adjustment reason codes and remittance advice remark codes (CARC and RARC)
• Contributes to the development of short and long-term organizational and planning strategy.
• Drives departmental initiatives to ensure long-term operating excellence.
• Translates high-level organizational goals into departmental and tactical initiatives.
• Responsible for coaching, training, and developing staff. Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work and manages performance in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and performance management processes.
• Oversees and participates in quarterly and annual financial audits with internal and/or external auditors.
• Serves as a key participant in system and process improvement projects that are sponsored by the department.
• Assists with the development and modification of patient billing procedures to allow optimal income generation.
• Participates in special projects assigned by organizational leaders.
