What is Data Fabric:
Data Fabric is a cloud-based Data as a Service (DaaS) and Insights as a Service (IaaS) offering for
People at IDfy & Clients of IDfy. It today processes 2/3rd of all the data IDfy produces, serves 100TBs
reads/month, and ingests upwards of 800M rows/month.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Module Lead to join our Data Engineering Team. The ideal
candidate will have experience in application engineering, data analytics, and data integration
technologies, and be able to lead the team in developing and implementing new solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead a team of Application Engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality applications
● Design and build data integration and data visualization solutions
● Collaborate with other teams to ensure that application development aligns with overall company
goals
● Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
● Ensure that team members are working efficiently and effectively, and provide feedback and
mentoring as needed
● Review and approve project deliverables and ensure that they pass IDfy quality gates
● Provide technical guidance and support to team members
● Participate in sprint planning
● Lead a team of Application Engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality applications
● Design and build data integration and data visualization solutions
● Collaborate with other teams to ensure that application development aligns with overall company
goals
● Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
● Ensure that team members are working efficiently and effectively, and provide feedback and

Skills Required:
Airflow, ETL, ETL pipeline design, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, System Architecture,
Candidate Attributes:
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in application engineering, with a focus on building Data Contracts, data
integration technologies
● 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of developers
● Backend: One or more of Elixir, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Python, and Go and ready to work on
any of the stacks listed here after upskilling
● Concepts: Event Driven System Design Skills, Functional or Object Oriented Programming skills,
Clean Coding, Working knowledge of common design patterns, APIs, Data Modeling
● Database: PostgreSQL or any RDBMS. Must have strong SQL and performance tuning skills.
Should know database design
● Platform: Docker, Kubernetes(k8s), CI/CD
● Strong understanding of application development processes and methodologies
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Familiarity with agile development methodologies
● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
