Job Responsibilities:

The Key Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations. the senior account manager should have strong communication, customer service, and account management skills and be highly organized and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals.


  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow existing accounts.
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships
  • Upselling efforts will entail contacting designated existing clients to identify opportunities to expand services with the ultimate goal of becoming the single-source provider.
  • Approach clients to exhaust all opportunities to sell additional services, expand the scope of work within an additional discipline and expand use or our program within the client organization (divisions, sister companies, other locations, contractors, business units, etc.)
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Quota responsibility of contract value within a territory of major account sized client accounts, with strong focus on growth accounts and finding opportunities to scale.
  • Proficient in sales/account planning and execution; and strong understanding of territory management
  • Run forecast accuracy on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis as well as keep management posted of the territory status.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge & focus.
